We love our night sky! It tells a story—one of wonder, rest, and connection. And this week we celebrate it!
At last week's City Council meeting, the City of Dripping Springs proudly proclaimed April 13–20, 2026, as International Dark Sky Week, joining communities around the world in protecting one of our most valuable natural resources: the night.
As the first International Dark Sky Community in Texas, we know that darker skies mean brighter stars, healthier ecosystems, better sleep, and a deeper connection to the world around us.
Light pollution is reversible—and together, we can make a difference.
This week, we invite you to turn down the lights, look up, and experience the magic of our night sky. ✨
