At Tuesday's City Council meeting, the City of Dripping Springs recognized 12-year-old Trevor DuBransky of the Big Sky community for his extraordinary courage and quick thinking during a life-threatening emergency.
On April 25, Trevor noticed something was wrong while approaching a friend’s home. Trusting his instincts, he quickly raced home to get help and provided the exact address needed for a 911 call. Because of his awareness, composure, and determination, first responders were able to reach a man who had suffered a serious fall and head injury — ultimately saving his life.
Trevor’s actions showed remarkable bravery, compassion, and presence of mind well beyond his years. He reminds us all that heroes don’t wait — they act.
Trevor was honored by the City, Emergency Preparedness & Homeland Security Director Roman Baligad, members of the Hays County Junior Deputy Training program, and Sheriff Hipolito for his heroic actions.
Thank you, Trevor, for representing the very best of Dripping Springs. 👏
